Scientific Council
The Scientific Council (SC) has to reflect the topical and geographical diversity of the history of national and regional movements. In view of this fundamental guideline, the SC has over the last year been enlarged with the following academics: Peter Aronsson, Todor Čepreganov, Alexey Miller and Xosé-Manoel Núñez Seixas.
In order to attain the optimal geographical and topical balance for the Scientific Council (SC), four more scholars have been asked over the last year to join.
Prof. dr. Peter Aronsson is professor of history at Linköping University in Norrköping (Sweden). He studies a.o. the use of history in culture and heritage, as well as in politics and literature; he is currently coordinating an international project on national museums.
Also prof. dr. Todor Čepreganov, director of the Institute of National History (INI), in Skopje (Macedonia), an expert on Balkan history, became a SC member.
Prof. dr. Alexey Miller, who is leading research-fellow in the Institute for Scientific Information of Russian Academy of Sciences (ISS), as well as professor at the Central European University in Budapest, is currently Leverhulme Trust professor at Manchester University.
