Exhibition: 100th anniversary of Maurits Coppieters
On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Maurits Coppieters, NISE and the Coppieters Foundation host an exhibition that aims to give an overview of the many lives of Maurits Coppieters, a politician who gained recognition in the post-war Flemish movement. A teacher by training and a youth leader at heart, for most of his life Coppieters was active in Flemish national politics and was deeply involved in the social and cultural life of the Flemish community, where the recurring themes of his work were social justice and pacifism.
